Julian, your solution did indeed do the trick. I must admit I have never seen an unblock option for files before. Can I set this option for any file or ist it set automatically by certain operations?

I recently got notification that an update was available for donors, build 905. If I try to start the exe file, absolutely nothing happens. I've checked the Task Manager and there is nothing there. I have downloaded the file again and get the same results. I do not have problem with other exe files ...
