Thank you very much for the info.
But seems like there's a bug in my FC v 2009.02b , because changing the option does not make any difference. It's not important for me but perhaps may be of use for anyone else, I don't know.

What is the option "Hot track only" for??
It drives me crazy. I can't find neither on forum nor in help file. Seems like everyone knows what's that hot is for. So would you please give me hint so I know it too?

Followng junctions and dir symlinks
Hi
Any comments on this bug report:
Junctions are followed to the real-destination? Is it already fixed or is it going to be fixed once?
FC follows directory symbolic links just like junctions, the same incorrect way - by jumping to dest dir.
Thanks.

Re: how to remove permanently by default (pls hlp)
Ahhh, thanks a lot! Shame on me I didn't get to it myself. Also this helped: Allow spec keys in Keyboard Shortcuts.
The software is good indeed.

Re: Extended copy/move functionality
Extended copy/move functionality is essential for file manager indeed. It would be of the greatest benefit to have more options and control over the process, copy/move queues and in-place copy/move. IMO it's the key productivity features.

how to remove permanently by default (pls hlp)
Hi. Please help. It drives me crazy to hold Shift each time i'm removing a file/dir. Where's the config option to remove permanently by default, not to the recycle bin? Sorry I must be blind cause can't find it on my own. Thanks for the help!
