Re: [947] cancel copy-action quirky

I tried it on a different Win10 machine with pristine portable FCXE.
the problem exists, but I cannot tell which version started the issues.
deeper reseach shows, that the problem occurs only when the copy action deals with a lot of different files.

I have a Vivaldi Standalone folder, for example ...

Re: [947] cancel copy-action quirky

yes, pristine FCXE portable (both versions 946&947) also shows this behavior.
it is always pressing Esc exactly three times.
MS file explorer works correctly.

after further investigation I see that the issue started in earlier versions of FCXE (I didn't notice it earlier).

[fixed]-[947] cancel copy-action quirky

this behavior started with [946] and is still here in [947]
Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V invokes the Windows copy action (not FCXE copy dialogue) on my machine.

1) select a large file/folder
2) press Ctrl+C
3) press Ctrl+V
4) press Esc to cancel the copy-action
5) Win copy dialogue disappears for a second or ...

Re: [928] - Multiple file opening in plain view fails

940 still CANNOT do it properly

(perhaps somehow related to: viewtopic.php?p=44335#p44335)

Re: 940 - Cut multiple files in plain view failed (updated 2x)

I can fully confirm this.
F6 seems to be a tad more reliable than Ctrl+X.

strangely enough it sometimes works (using F6), BUT the folder list is not updated (the moved file remains visible in the original folder even though it was moved successfully)

Re: icon to open pre-defined path in *new* tab

Well my solution is very simple.
BUT I think FCXE can do what you want.

1) open 'Customize favorite toolbar'
2) add a new 'Category' to your favorite toolbar
3) in that category add a 'New item' with the following entries (of course change it to your needs):
- Name: **your predefined folder ...

Re: icon to open pre-defined path in *new* tab

I'd suggest to keep using 'Favorites' but try the option 'Lock folder tab - navigation to subfolders' or 'Lock folder tab - no navigation' instead of just 'Lock folder tab'.

[fixed] - [939] copy causes error

I found out that the bug was introduced with 937.

1) activate Plain view (Ctrl+B)
2) now in Plain view be sure to select files from DIFFERENT folders
3) press Ctrl+C --> error box pops up, copy operation fails
