I am using "FreeCommander XE 2017 Build 749 64-bit donor" on Windows 7. I am convinced that the described functionality was working earlier (but I am not absolutely sure).

How to retrace the behaviour:
1) Start the search dialogue in the FC.

I have realized the same issue in "FreeCommander XE 2016 Build 720 64-bit donor".

Version: FreeCommander XE 2016 Build 716 64-bit donor

Step-by-Step:
1) Go into Settings -> View -> DOS prompt.
2) Set a new DOS box command specification (I have taken "C:\Program Files\ConEmu\ConEmu64.exe" /Reuse /Dir "%ActivDir%" to work with ConEmu).

Perfect! This solution has solved my problem.

Whenever I close the application it ends in an application error. Even if I used the command line parameters "/N /NewIni=FreeCommanderTest.ini /NoPlugins /Lng=English" there is no difference.
