I *think* it's a 1.5TB Seagate - I got it back before I knew what I was doing - but it's been in there for over 5 years with heavy use.
I'm replacing it with a 2GB WD Black ($80!).

In fact, the HDD is dying.
I'm using Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier to copy the files off of the drive before it completely dies.
I had backups of the other partitions, but I hadn't ran the backup for this partition in a long time, apparently.

Well, I thought about that for a bit.

I renamed the offending folder and now I can open it just fine.

But I still don't know what the matter was.

Now FC is ghosted over.

I can open the folder in Windows Explorer with no problem.
In FC I can open the other folders on the same disk (other folders in that same folder) just fine.

I use the FC copy button that I added to the splitter bar.
I never use the function bar at all (and for me F5 is refresh)

Okay, so I have my Acer IconiaTab A100 Android tablet (circa 2011 A.D.) plugged in via USB as a media device. I can browse the contents of the "external SD" disk in it's SD drive bay.

Today I am moving files from one drive to another. The drives are separate HDDs - one is NTFS and the other is formated exFAT, both drives attached via USB3.

It was set to just plain old delete - funny thing I never got a Windows dialogue from that. I always had fc's dialogue. (version 726 x64; I know, I have to update)

Okay, so doing it your way shows the dialogue window for a second and a half.

I'm talking about the FC dialogue called "Send to Recycle Bin" with the buttons: Queue, Run, Cancel.
I want to get rid of that one.

Well, maybe I'm confused, but I'm still having this problem. When I want to copy or delete something, I *ALWAYS* have to click through dialogues.
I just want to push the button or key and be done with it.

So I go to delete a file. I select it and push delete.
A dialogue appears every time ...

In one of my FreeCommander installations, I have installed the 64bit version and all the icons are weird-looking. I installed it on Windows Server 2012. The icons don't look like any of my other installations.

I have attached a screenshot.

I want the old icons back.
What can I do? I'm not sure how ...

There is this one directory where I have lots of folders full of image files.

My aim is to move all the files from the subdirectories into the parent.

I go to that parent folder and toggle on structureless view to show all files in parent and all files in its subfolders.
