So those settings that are governing their Columns

That has cut down my FreeCommander.ini file to 3045 lines. (And if I will close all Tabs, then it gets down to 2259)

I have looked once more into this config file and I do not see any more unjustifiably / unwantedly repeated blocks, so there there is nothing more here to be explained / cleaned. So ...

Unfortunately it is a weak workaround, cause it requires too much work to be done:

#1] Click with RMB

#2] Move pointer down to middle of long list

#3] Click with LMB

#4] (When not being satisfied with the Tab being placed as the last one in the opposite Panel ...

Unfortunately it is. And that is why these INI files of mine work correctly in that older Build

I just now I have tested out the option of

Tools > Settings > View > Drives > General > Show drives as popup button

and it seems to fix the things i.e. both this single bar drop-down list displays ...

I have also observed this new bug that might have something to do with the above glitch, as it also censers counting of space on volumes and is not manifesting itself when I roll back these 2 older Builds: viewtopic.php?t=14240

This seems to have been fixed somewhere along the way, because in Build 912 64-bit Donor Portable on Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC 21H2 x64 (19044.6691) this was no longer happening

The short handy list of volumes that shows up in FreeCommander when user clicks the icon located on the left edge of the Address Bar is in not displayed properly, because it lacks information about remaining free space on each of them:
