Favourites Menu from the Splitter Bar Button

#1 Post by BGM » 20.10.2011, 18:25

Salvete! In the old FC, if you clicked on the Favourites button in the splitter toolbar, it would open the favourites menu right next to the button. In FCXE, when you click the Favourites button in the splitter toolbar, it opens the menu in the upper-left corner of the active folder pane. If the left-hand panel is active, that favourites menu appears way over on the the other side of FC! Then you have to move your mouse all the way over there (which is rather distant on my wide-screen monitor). I think the menu should appear right next to the button.

That's why I placed 2 buttons, one in every panel :)

Thanks for the screenshot joby_toss, but I am looking to get the same functionality as we had in the old FC. I am hoping Marek is willing to fix it... It can't be too difficult to make the menu appear at mousepoint!
