Quick View

#1 Post by Galton » 24.10.2008, 22:12

I find Quick View is great I can see everything including a rough view of Photoshop Files.
It even plays .mpg video files, it does not play however .VOB files these are nothing but .mpg files created for the purpose of burning a DVD, as matter of fact if the .VOB extension is changed to .MPG the file plays OK.

Would it be too difficult to include something where would be possible to play these files also?

Thank You.

It would be wonderful if Quickview could read the M2t files produced by HDV cameras!

I like to expand this posting.

I just installed Free Commander on my daughter's computer and on her system it does play .VOB files I also used the Free Commander that I have on a u3 USB drive and it works fine on her computer but not on mine.

On my computer when I select a .Vob file all it shows is the Windows Media Player Logo.

The same .VOB file does play OK in Windows Media Player if I launch and open the file.

I must be missing something in my Windows Installation - any idea what it could be?

Thanks!
