OK to copy INI file to Beta folder ?

Maybe a stupid question, but can I simply copy my INI file with existing settings over to the Beta program folder, or will I be possibly losing new setting options ?

Does the ini file stay the same across releases ?

Maybe the question should say, How do I safely copy my settings across ?

Make a backup of the INI and try :).
Old settings should work with the newer version.

I guess you will say to use the new ini file if it changes it`s structure in the future.
