Backup settings access is denied

I am running in win 10 pro 64 bit. I have FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 810a 64-bit. I am getting spurious "Backup Settings access is denied" error popups when I am not doing anything with settings backup. How can I get rid of this?

Per default is "Auto backup" for settings active. The target folder for settings backup is defined here

The folder is probably not writeable. You can define other folder - this folder must be writeable.
