To reproduce:
- use default settings
- disable option "Allow rename on slow double click"
- go to folder with images
- enable quick view - ctrl+q
- press F2
- type any name, you can use just same names, 1, 2, 3, 4
- press Tab
- focus is changed to next item, renaming is activated, correct behavior
= quick view panel is empty, not updated

Not fixed in 8325, tested with custom settings.

Sometimes this way doesn't work at all, I can reproduce it with default setting now, always, strange:
- use default settings
- go to folder with images
- enable quick view - ctrl+q
- press F2
- type any name, you can use just same names, 1, 2, 3, 4
- press Tab
= focus is not changed to next item, renaming is still activated at the same item
= quick view panel is empty

I deleted all items from SettingsTest folder and I still reproduce the issue above, F2+Tab doesn't work at all.

With my settings - just disabled rename dialog option, F2+Tab works, but quick view is empty.

Just clarification for steps, focus file 1.jpg, press F2, press "1", press Tab.

EDIT: OK, this #2 bug - F2+Tab doesn't work if option "Allow rename on slow double click" is enabled, it works if disabled, not sure if it's a feature or bug. Anyway, still can reproduce the bug from first post.

Could you check it again?
