841 - PDF viewer PageDown/Esc issue
Posted: 02.02.2021, 00:05
I'm using portable version of Sumatra for pdf and I found, that default app for pdf in Windows is Microsoft Edge, don't know why.
I'm have .pdf in field for "Windows preview".
Anyway, here are steps to reproduce some issues:
- focus any pdf file with more than 1 page
- press F3
- pdf is opened in viewer
- press PageDown
= it doesn't work
- click in the middle
- PageDown works now
- press Esc to close viewer
= Esc doesn't work now
Not sure where is the problem, I could try to install other programs for PDF, but PageDown for txt files work good.
I just found, that if using original size for images, PageDown doesn't work either, it doesn't work even after I click in the middle, but this is probably another issue.
EDIT: So I had Sumatra also as install version, Edge probably changed it itself, even after I reinstalled Sumatra, it was still set to Edge, I had to change it in Windows Settings, with 1 more dialog from Edge, anyway, with Sumatra install version it's still the same, all steps and results are the same.
