Highlight Recently Modified Files

Hello

Initial situation
I want to open a specific file in some folder, and it is clear that this file is the file that has been changed most recently, compared to the other files in the folder.
So, it might be a file I work frequently on, whereas the other files in the folder are more for reference, for instance.
I want to visually identify this file as fast as possible, in order to open it.

Proposed solution:
1a) Option to highlight the most recently modified file with a certain background or font color
1b) Option to highlight the most recently modified files (Perhaps 1st and 2nd, two colors)
2) Hotkey to select the most recently modified file

Remarks
Because of various reasons, sorting might not be the solution for this defeat; there might be subfolders, I need sorting by name, I do not want to check sorting order before looing on the top or on the bottom of the file list ...

This would be neat. :-)
Kind regards, Hauke

Looks like my request...

Focus newest item / file - FreeCommander Forum

Try Ctrl+End, toolbar button is available too.

What a great coincidence! :-)

Thanks, Dreamer,
and even more: THANK YOU, Marek!

This is close enough to my proposed feature.

Although, a default color-highlighting would be the missing 2% to reach 100%. :-)
But I am satisfied with this; it does the trick for me.
