Under the

Tools > Settings > View > Folder Tabs > Tab Management > Show tab popup menu button

a user can choose to show or hide a handy button that drops down a menu with list of Tabs when it is pressed


However a user in unable to choose its location. The least than could be done is allowing for it an option to be placed on the opposite edge of a given Panel - like it is in the case of the Quick Filter box in the right Panel, which switchable option is available under

Tools > Settings > Quick search/filter/starter > Quick search/Quick filter > Quick filter / Show in the right panel on the left

checkbox. And so, if it would be implemented, it should allow for choosing of the side for both buttons, independent of each other's location and / or even presence itself

And what more that could be done is this: https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12979- i.e. making it possible to place that Tab Popup Menu Button also / or on the Address Bar toolbar

And also: to let the users choose if they want to have a button on both sides of any of two Panels- which could led to a setting of having 3 or 4 of these buttons. This would be handy for people who use:
- 21:9 aspect ratio monitor - and just one Panel in FreeCommander
- 32:9 aspect ratio monitor - and even two Panels
- two monitors - with each screen holding one of the Panels
