here is my setting:



as i enable "Go to the next item after selecting with space bar", when i select multiple files bu Space key, i found i also need use Space key to deselect the selection, ESC/Refresh key/ or click the unselected file by mouse can not deselect the selection...any suggestion?

PS, in TC, click the unselected file by mouse will deselect the selection...

Use Ctrl+-
If you want to clik with the mouse - define the button in the toolbar for "Unselect all".

define the button in the toolbar for "Unselect all" is worked for me, thank you, Marek.
