I'm playing with your nice latest additional "color by file type" (thanks for listening requests!).
It seems it does not save the settings, every time i restart the filters "color by file type)" are gone.

If you use some color scheme, after color changing you should save the color scheme too.

not clear for me what I should save and where. Im losing color settings by file type every time i reboot

Color schemes: View-Color schemes.
If any color scheme is active, after color changing you should save the color scheme too.
