Hello Free Commander community,
I have spent hours trying to get my NVDA screen reader to navigate to the tabs in the search window for FreeCommander. In most applications with tabs NVDA can find them in object mode. I finally got to the text of the tabs using OCR and then virtual mouse to click on the word date... but now my search window is stuck with no way to get back to the location tab... no way with a blind person using a screen reader?
Is there any way to fix that so a blind user can use the tabs in Free Commander?
I am a long time dona and using the last dona version
I have been having this problem for years. I did not even know about the tabs for duplicates until I tried to read the help file today...

If nothing else then is there a way to get the search window unstuck without reinstalling again?

Also there are some hidden to the blind options in the renaming window next to the name and extension fields that I used to use when I was not blind... they can not be used by a blind person... so please can any one tell me the special codes to use to replace words and numbers and the syntax for those special presets? thank you...

I'm not sure if I understand, but switching tabs is possible with keyboard shortcuts, Search, Multi Rename, or other windows:

- Next tab - Ctrl+Tab
- Previous tab - Shift+Ctrl+Tab

Anyway, in the Search window the tab Properties is broken, once you reach this tab, keyboard shortcuts are not working on any tab.

I did not know about the control TAB and Shift TAB gestures.
With screen readers like NVDA some key combinations are intercepted by the NVDA program and do not go to the application focused unless one chooses to let them.

Because of that I seldom use key combinations in my desktop applications. Certain ones like CNTRL A and CNTRL V and in browsers CNTRL F5 etc I use

For years I did not know there were tabs in the search window of FreeCommander.
When I tried to search by date or search only folders I would just have to do a regular search and poke around in the results.
