Comparing whole directory possible? Result only diffs?

I want to compare not just two flat folders but two directory trees.
As the result only those files and folders should appear which differ
(new in green,changed in blue, deleted in red).
All equal files and folders should be omitted.
Is this possible?
I found no way for this
