Address bar bug

When the path in the address bar is longer than the address bar width, center clicking the address bar results in a new tab rather than making the address bar editable. Also, left clicking it results in going up one level rather than viewing the history.
I see this is supposed to happen when clicking on the text in the address bar. However when the path is long relative to the address bar, the problem occurs even when not clicking anywhere near the text.
My suggested solution is place a new button beside the "Copy full path as text" button that performs the left click and center click functions.
Thanks.
