R522 flat view doesn't show custom columns

I have an issue when switching from normal to flat view: I've set up a custom column preset for <flat>, which includes path, but it doesn't show up when I switch modes. It does, however, if I move to another folder. Example:
1) I'm in normal view
2) I switch to flat -> no path column
3) I move up one folder (with backspace for example) -> path column appears
