file selection with right mouse button

When I want so select more files in FC XE with the right mouse button like in Windows Explorer, there is always a rectangle selected, if you click next to the file name, but not right onto it. You can see this in the following picture:
As a result, you can't select more files like in Windows Explorer, because when you click in the background, a file is selected like DtcInstall.log in the picture above.
Could the behaviour be changed like the way Windows Explorer reacts?
Here you can select more files with the right mouse button. If you click right next to a file name, the file is not selected, but you can select more files like shown in the next picture.
If you try this with FC XE, the program thinks you want to copy one file onto another, which is nothing anyone wants to do.
