Address Bar Blacked Out

Hi,
I have used Free Commander for years, and I've been very happy with it.
Suddenly, what I believe is called the address bar became blacked out whenever it was selected. I have no idea if this is a bug or an option, but it is really annoying. Maybe there is an answer somewhere on your website, but I have already spent more time than it is worth trying to figure out how to get the bar so that I can see it. I have not succeeded.
I have this problem with 2009.02b
I even tried Free Commander XE, but it has the same problem.
I am just very frustrated. Can you please help me?
