ctrl+z to undo last file command

Salvete! Hey, in Windows Explorer, we can push ctrl+z to undo the last move, copy or deletion command. Can we do that with FCXE? I hate it when I accidentally delete a file and then have to go fishing in the recycle bin to find it and restore it.

Good idea!

It's a very useful Hotkey! :)

Moving a file to a wrong folder unintentionally is even worse than deleting.
The deleted file can be found in the recycle bin, but the moved file? Search ...

This is an old wish for the old version of FC already. I'd love to see it eventually fulfilled in XE :)

@bege - Too right! However nice this may be, I think it might be difficult to implement. I use XnView for an image manager, and it doesn't have an undo yet either, and its been around for while.

I have requested this feature already, now just few more suggestions - if it will be implemented:

- option to define the number of steps
- toolbar button with the sub-button [v] with the list of last actions
- optional dialog if undo action will be done, e.g. "File abc.exe has been moved back to C:\Windows\"
- for moving+overwriting and copying+overwriting place "deleted" files to recycle bin, otherwise undo for these actions wouldn't be possible
- undo should be available also for actions like: closed tab, rename, multi rename...
