Collapse or Hide Search Options

I want the search parameters to collapse or hide if there are any search results. The parameters would be displayed again if I click or hover over a tab or button. With a widescreen monitor there isn't much vertical space to display the results. This requires a lot of scrolling. It would be very helpful if the parameters at the top could disappear and reappear as needed.
