- use NC mode
- select folder B and C
- press Ctrl+X to cut (not needed)
- go to folder A
- press Enter to enter the folder A
= folders B and C are opened in explorer

This if even worse if you select more folders or files, like 50 image or video files. In this case all files are opened in the new instance of a program or explorer and whole system is freezing.

If some items are selected and the focused item is a folder - only the folder must be opened: it is fixed now for the release 580.
If only files are selected - all the files are opened. It is the same as Windows Explorer. I could show some warning if more as X (20?) files should be opened.

Hm.. This feature is not good, it's danger, whole computer might freeze completely, even crash, so why it should be the same as in Explorer?

Warning dialog may help, but it's not easy to set the good number of files, 20 text files are OK, but even 10 full HD video files are danger. Perhaps if all files are selected, always show the warning dialog, if possible.

I'd remove this option completely and maybe add it as option, disabled by default, but definitely the option to disable this danger feature should be added IMHO.

I agree, it could be really dangerous. So i would vote for the warning dialog even starting with more than one file = 2 files. The dialog could have the options:

- nevertheless open all selected files (user must be aware of the possible risks)
- open only the first file
- cancel
