581 - Loses color in status bar

#1 Post by H.Seldon » 17.03.2012, 03:11

Status bar text coloring reverted to all black. I set all text colors again, and saved settings. After closing and reopening FCX, the text colors have reverted to all black again. Using Windows Vista x64.

I can't confirm this bug, I thought the font colors can't be changed in the status bar.

Anyway, I think the option for default font color in status bar should be added.

Another minor bug found, in the setup dialog for status bar font colors (Status bar fields), if I set a white color, then the text in the "Text pattern" column is completely invisible, even the multiple rows are invisible.

Build 581, Win Vista 32 bit.

Edit: 582 Still losing text color changes to status bar. I can interactively change the text colors, and they remain so until I exit and restart FCXE, at which time the colors are all black again. After examining the INI file, I see that all values for status bar text color are saved as -16777208 (0xff000008). As I have a dark background, the dark text cannot be read.

I have found the problem and fixed it for the next release.
Now you can simply rename "FcDefault..." names to your own names and it should works.

I just tried your suggestion. It worked perfectly. Thank you very much.
