596 - new folder command bug

to reproduce RMB then "New" then "New Folder" then in the "New File 
:Folder" type "1.-.2.3.4.5." then press enter.
-> a new file folder is created with the name "1-2345"
pressing "F7" and typing "1.-.2.3.4.5." creates a folder named "1.-.2.3.4.5.".
