- show Favorites items
- in Setting check "Allow one instance only" & Start minimized
- maximize FC
- create a shorcut (RMB on FC.exe)
- start FC via shortcut
-> FC starts minimized, but Favorite items panel width gets smaller, restart FC, and Favorite items panel width gets even smaller

in 597 it got even worse! in dual mode changing a panel width changes fav. items panel width.
also give it a try and change fav. items width then press CTRTL/SHIFT F1.
