What version of FC are you using? Both your requests are already available in FC-XE; if your version does not offer what I describe here, you could upgrade to that. http://www.freecommander.com/fc_beta_en.htm

Files deleting confirm

A dialog pops up; I think the default is to use the Windows confirmation -- have you perhaps disabled that in Windows? Alternatively, a richer FC dialog is available. See Settings > File/Folder Operations > General tab > Delete; select either "Use Windows" or "Use FreeCommander."

This appears in the address bar below the tab (putting it in the tab would make it unreasonably wide). It can also appear in the window title, depending on how you configure Settings > View > Main Window Title.

I found all that I need in XE version.
Why default download version is 2009.02b?

FC-XE is a beta version, therefore not the default download. Marek is still adding and adjusting features before a general public release.
