I don't know if there is a setting to handle this or if it is a bug - I don't remember this being a problem before...

When I add or remove a Flash drive (just any old usb stick), the Drive bar does not update. If I go into Settings and then click OK even without changing anything, then the Drive Bar updates.

The effect is that if I eject a flash drive, the icon stays there in the drive bar (just above the tabs) even though the drive isn't there.
Here are my settings:

Didn't happen to me yet.
Try activating the option "Show removable drives only with disk" (or is this referring only to CDs?).

How long are you waiting? It takes time to show, several seconds here...

It works fine for me. I insert a USB drive and the drivebar icon appears in about 3 seconds. When I eject the drive, the icon is gone from the drivebar before I can physically remove the USB drive.

Joby_Toss - The option "Show removable drives only with disk" works fine to hide my 4 card reader drives (USB interface to mobo) until I insert an SDHC card or other format. When I eject the card, the drive icon disappears just like the USB drive above.

Dreamer - it's not a matter of waiting. It just *doesn't* do it at all.

What can I do to get more information?
