Differences between Beta and Standard Versions?

Heck, I don't know how long I have been using this best dual-pane File Manager ever devised. << Thank you!
But I recommend and publicize this great FREEware program in many a forum and when the occasion arises! Yesterday was one such occasion at the http://windowssecrets.com/forums/.
Looking thru some of the previously downloaded versions I have kept, one is dated going all the way back to "201206_FreeCommanderXE-BetaV591".

At one point, a few years ago, I had convinced my mate (at the time) to donate but I don't recall the details.
Currently I am running the Beta V650. and I hear that there is a Beta V659 release.
I guess I am no longer entitled to access the beta site to download this latest V659 version.
Thus, I must ask what the differences are between the these Beta versions and the regular FREEware version that is available for download.
I looked around to find out the answer (or a pertinent post) but have not been successful.
Would anyone resolve this mystery for me?

Thank you in advance!

All the changes - new features, bug fixes are listed here:

Plus - perhaps some special search option, I'm not sure.

Thank you dreamer,
I had gone thru that post and I had thought that there was truly a beta branch (which I used to have a link for) separated from the release branch.
I guess I have no choice but to stick with my current V650 that has no major issues running on Win8.1.1!
Cheers!

You have a choice, spend some money and become a donor.
Then you have always access to the newest beta versions.
