I have been using FC 2009 for years and recently heard of your new XE version so I thought I would give it a try.

The question I have in the 2009 version I could set up a split, dual-panel view. When I clicked on a drive icon on the top of the window the Drive and first sub-folders would display on the left panel and the files would be on the right panel.

However, with the XE version I cannot seem to find a way to display it similar. The left panel shows the entire tree with all drives. I just prefer one drive view at a time like 2009.

Is it possible to achieve the look I seek?

I don't use the Tree, but I think this could help:

Settings > View> Tree > Management > Base folder - (o) drive

Your suggestion was correct. I finally found what I was looking for (so many options which is nice for customization). It was under Settings/View/Tree/Management where one can select the 'drive' only as the base folder. Mine was set at 'desktop'.

Looking forward towards giving this new a try.
