Search asks me to pick a search folder, does nothing else

I'm running FreeCommander XE 2014 Build 650
I'm running Windows 8.1 on a laptop

When I select Folder->Search all I get is this dialog, which appears to be asking me to select a "Search Folder":

I click Ok (or Cancel) and the dialog closes, and nothing further happens.

How do I actually do a search in FC?

File->Search (Ctrl+F is the default shortcut).

Folder->Search might be a little misleading; it allows you to select any folder from the entire folder structure on that PC and to browse it when you hit OK.

Hey, that works - thanks! :D

And, looking around through the menus I see
File->Search (Ctrl+F)
and
Folder->Search (the one I found)

(If I might be so bold, perhaps Folder->Search ought be renamed? Maybe something like Navigate To...?)

Is Folder->Search useful for when one doesn't have the Tree view open?

Thanks again for the help!

Fixed in FC XE 680

Search... was changed to Select... (see http://forum.freecommander.com/viewtopi ... =45#p19964)
