Quick Starter Docking

What about docking the quick-starter? It would be a lot quicker if it was always in sight.
I dunno, just an idea I was pondering on.

As I can see it, Quick starter is just a fast way to launch something using the keyboard, so I don't know why would you want it docked somewhere into the GUI. Perhaps if you'd like to use the mouse to launch things, I don't know... I wouldn't mind it as an option, though.

Joby, I never thought of it that way. Actually, I do like to use the mouse. But to tell you the truth, I am not even sure why I would use the Quick Starter in the first place. I thought it was a launcher, but am not sure how it is any different/better than using the favourite tools except that you can easily drag-n-drop into the panel. Maybe it's supposed to be like a "temporary" launcher?

@joby has a valid point: using keyboard to launch things is pretty efficient.
@BGM using the favorite toolbar is an excellent feature of FCXE, that I regularly use. but in my quick-launcher there are 68 items - would make my favorite bar a bit crowded. (I use every single of these 68 items)
what I want to say: never change a winning team.

I can tell you how I find it most useful: I flattened my Portable apps directory, filtered all the .exe's (about 1000 of those are relevant) and created a new repository from all of them. And now (while I work in FC) I call the Quick starter window, type fire (for example) and hit Enter to launch my Firefox portable (Firefoxportable.exe is my only Firefox executable, I removed the rest).
It's like Launchy, but only inside FC.
You can even make the hotkey global, but be careful for hotkey conflicts (Ctrl+Shift+J opens Browser Console window in Firefox, for example).
