Hi all,

I'm using build 685 32-bit. For a few days now, everytime I minimize FreeCommander to the taskbar and then I reopen it, I find the left pane (favorite + tree windows) collapsed to the left. I'm able to restore manually my layout, but this happens all the times.

What should I check? I didn't change anything, at least in these days I didn't made any modification to the settings I'm aware of.

What is your Windows version?

I have a Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit). Note that I also installed it on another PC (same OS) and I don't have this issue.
To minimize I click on the dedicated icon on the top of the FreeCommander window (the third from right) or the button close to the clock, bottom-right on the screen.
Then I click on the taskbar, selecting the FreeCommander application, and the window comes up with the left part collapsed.

Note that this doesn't happen when I simply shift the focus to another application (clicking on another taskbar application); only if I minimize FreeCommander. Also launching full screen application (games) is not causing this issue to appear; it only happens if the FreeCommander window is minimized.

Is there a way to clean the settings, to go back to the default state? I guess there is something there that's forcing this behaviour.

Yes, simply remove the content of the freecommander.ini file:
- check the location of the freecommander.ini Help -> About
- close FreeCommander
- open the freecommander.ini with some text editor (e.g. notepad)
- remove the content and save empty file
- start FreeCommander

If it is possible, send me your freecommander.ini before you clean the settings.
