I'm using FCXE 2014 Build 665. Use the product every day. Under Add/Remove columns I've selected Files and Folders. I want to see how big these directories are. I only get the root totals. Is there a way to show the total number of folders and files for this directory?

I use FCXE to give me the size of the directory so I can back up to a DVD. Without going to each directory, tell me the number of directories and files from this point on.

Try to use Properties... (Alt+Enter). It would show files/folders count for one/all selected items.

Or you can use the Quick view panel (using the toolbar/splitter button or Ctrl+Q customizable shortcut) for one selected item at a time.

Select the first item [..] for the current folder:



or any other, without having to browse them:

Add the columns first and then try with program restart.
