Change date format

How do I change the way dates are shown. Specifically, I want to see dates in the mm/dd/yyyy format that Windows Explorer uses.

Tools - Settings - View - File/folder list - General tab - Timestamp format

Thank you, Timon. I went through the settings 3 or 4 times and searched the Help text a couple of times, but still managed to miss it.
