Search result set selection unstability against sorting

Hello,
An example will speak better : here is the behavior of the folder pane I would expect to also encounter in search pane :
I select files a.txt and b.txt, the I sort by name descending : my selection is preserved although files are re-sorted.
If I do the same with my search result set :
I select files a.txt and b.txt, the I sort by name descending : my selection is lost when files are re-sorted :
This is bothering when refining a search result selection in order to export it or use as a file container.
(using FreeCommander XE 2015 Build 705 64-bit donor on Windows 7 64-bit)
