FreeCommander Forum

After selecting "Details View" I see no file details (size, date, type, etc.) in right column. Only the FileName column is displayed, with an empty column to the right of it.

Details for the selected file do show in the status bar at bottom though.

How do I make Details show in right column? I've read the Help File but if a fix is there for this problem it's escaping me.

try first to start FC without freecommander.ini file: go to your install folder (or freecommander.ini location) and rename the file.

Disregard my last...

I now see that a new freecommander.ini was created when I saved new settings.

That worked. Details are now showing.

Do I leave the freecommander.ini disabled?

Will settings or preference changes be saved if it's not enabled?
