FreeCommander Forum

It worked until yesterday, but now FC XE won't start. Freecommander.exe is running in Task Manager.

I'd rather not un/re-install because the customization I did when I installed (columns, etc) has been forgotten by me and it took me a long time to figure out.

Please help!

Try to use these command line parameters (your old settings file will be preserved):

/N /NewIni=FreeCommanderTest.ini /NoPlugins /Lng=English

Possibly the FC is just out of screen, try to change the resolution, or use some program to move window. Can you see the FC in the taskbar?

The best solution is probably to use the old settings, default path is in the Settings folder ( %FcAppDataPath% ) "Bkp_Settings_2016-03-06...", close FC, backup the actual settings and copy the files from backup.
