when in desktop press ctrl+b

It is not a bug. As the message say - not supported.

well, then lets agree on regression.

"Desktop" and "c:\users\asterix\Desktop" is not the same!
Simply try "c:\users\asterix\Desktop" with XE too.

seems like the problem is the special folders in Windows.
also flat view does not work when accessing a smart phone via MTP or PTP.
luckily flat works on USB thumb drives.

all of this, works just fine in some other famous, expensive FM.
imo, flat view is one of the best features of a FM, i wish XE synchronize would support flat view
for complete structure comparison or for finding easily duplicates.
