Hello Karol,
It works !
Had to restart Windows entirely and tweak a few things in the registry (damn OneDrive and GoogleDrive competing for those 9-first-only ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers by adding spaces in the front of key names)
I now have both the context menu (without, you're just toast with ...

Re: b948: Search files/folders results column Extension empty
Thank you then.Marek wrote: 15.05.2026, 13:44 My response was wrong.
I overlooked the fact that it's a Search Files dialog.
It is a bug currently.
The file extension is displayed in the column in the file list, regardless of the option I mentioned.

Re: b948: Search files/folders results column Extension empty
Hello Marek ; thank you for your quick response,
Deactivate this option :
Show extension in column "Name"
If this setting is checked, file extensions are shown in the column "Name".
Hmmm, quite not satisfying because I mean to still have the complete filename with extension in Name.

Re: b948: TortoiseGit missing from context menu
Hello Karoll,
Thanks for your hints.
For overlays visibility you should use "extracted" icons .
That's already my configuration.
The TortoiseSVN has an option: Show overlays and context menu only in explorer.
Check if the option exists in TortoiseGit.

Re: b948: TortoiseGit missing from context menu
Hello Marek, thanks for fast response.
What about older FC version 947, 946?
Is TortoiseGit 2.18 and 2.18.1 64 bit?
I can spot the problem as far back to build 940 (the oldest I kept installer for)
Yes, using TortoiseGit 64 bits.
If it may help (?), I also can't see overlays on file icons ...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)
Hello,
Separator (lines) would be nice indeed ; also, icons (beyond file and folder) could be customizable.
Basically, offer for customization in Favorites menu as they appear in View menu (next on the right)
Thanks.

Hello,
I now have some specifics :
After a while (I haven't identified which event : time ? deep sleep ? ...), move to tree panel folders changes the icon to that small "create link" look alike :

done with 931 ? -> Re: b928: drag & drop operations messed up
Problems looks like gone with b931 although not in releases notes.
Either I'm hallucinating or there was a vertuous side effect.
Anyway ; looks good now.
Thanks

I felt that as a sequel it wouldn't deserve a new topic : I still encounter this faulty behavior -> moving a file to .. (parent folder) doesn't produce any effect in build 929.
Moving to tree panel also is inoperant (a shortcut-alike icon appears at mouse-pointer but nothing happens at the ...

b928: drag & drop operations messed up
Hello,
I hate opening an imprecise topic but before I start shooting captures and fine descriptions, I'd like to know if I'm the only one experiencing that :
Drag & drop operations have started to be messed up (without any config changed from my part) as :
they do not default as before (same disk ...
