577 No focus highlight after delete
577 No focus highlight after delete
If an item is deleted, then the focus highlight is no longer visible. Hitting the down arrow key will place the focus at the top of the pane. So in a sense, the focus highlight has gotten "lost" off the top of the folder/file list. (FCXE 577, Win 7/64.)
This happens only when "Select items in NC-mode" is enabled.
I think the expected behavior is for the focus highlight to remain in the list at the same point where the item was deleted.

Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
It seems to be OK in 579.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Still a problem for me in 579. Note that "Select items in NC-mode" must be enabled, and not a problem if that is disabled.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
I can replicate this in 579, too. It must be a bug.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Still a problem in 581.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Unfortunatelly, it works fine for me.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
I can reproduce this bug, only if "use windows" option is used for "Delete" operation.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Ah, nice discovery, Dreamer! When I switched from "Delete - Use Windows" to "Delete - Use FreeCommander" the problem disappeared (the highlight remained in the file list as expected). Good work ;^)Dreamer wrote:I can reproduce this bug, only if "use windows" option is used for "Delete" operation.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Still a bug in 582 if "Delete - Use Windows" is enabled.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Also the other bug (related?) is not fixed.
Re: 577 No focus highlight after delete
Fixed for the release 583.

Agreed. This works correctly for me now. Thank you, Marek.
