582 - Quick filter auto activates itself

I'm not even sure this is a bug, but I can't stand it anymore.
Can't find the setting to deactivate this behavior, if it exists...

FCXE 582 on win7x64sp1, 2 panels, 5 tabs per panel, no tree

1. select any folder tab
2. write something in the quick filter box
3. deactivate the quick filter
4. select a different folder tab
5. select the previous tab again (the one you used quick filter on)
6. quick filter is activated again and shouldn't be

The quick filter should be tab specific - it is a bug; fixed for the release 583.
