Salvete! I have noticed a problem that I have been dealing with for awhile and didn't think about it.
I have a computer on the network that I am browsing (trying to fix permissions on said computer so I can browse its directories).
Thus, I have a directory loaded in my FC pane like this:
\\mycomputer
folder1
folder2
folder3
folder4
Now, if I try to open \\mycomputer\folder2, and either don't have access, or the share is not configured, FC tells me that the directory isn't accessible, and then - and THEN - it dumps me to my own Desktop folder!!!! It should leave me in \\mycomputer.
I have noticed this problem also on trying to enter a subfolder that has been deleted. Instead of leaving my view in the parent directory, I get dumped into the Desktop folder instead.

Re: Return to Previously Known Directory
I think this would be a good feature to be able to configure. I have often been surprised by the same behavior when trying to return to a deleted subfolder.
