In one of my favourites toolbars I have a toolbar with some items in it: categories, buttons, etc. I add an entry for "myfolder" with its path of "c:\myfolder\otherfolder" and assign it a category so it will show in the right menu-button.
Then, I want another button on the toolbar with the same name of "myfolder" but outside of the category.
It won't let me! I can't have two items with the same "name", even though the paths are different. If I add a second button with the same name, it takes the first one and removes its category and changes its path to the newly added one. I end up with two buttons that are uncategorized, and with the same path.
Now, if I give it a different name, all is well (except for the toolbar positioning still getting scrambled) http://forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4089.
Now, if we can't give two items the same name, there ought to be something to alert us when we try to do that. However, I think allowing two items with the same name would be a better way to go.
