597 - Search options not saved

#1 Post by Dreamer » 25.07.2012, 15:21

These 2 options are not saved on Search dialog close, I'd like to disable the second option to search faster, currently I have to disable this option manually for every search.

- Search in subfolders up to level
- Search in archives

I think the second option should be disabled by default.

It works OK for me. The disabled/enabled option stays disabled/enabled across sessions.

This works correctly for me as well (checkbox status is saved between Search sessions). FC-XE 597, Win7-64.

OK, it doesn't work only if "Save history" is disabled.

Workaround is to temporary enable history, change those options, close search window - and then disable history again.

Anyway, I still think it's a bug, "save history" should not affect the other options.

You mean not "disabled" but "not checked" by default?

Hmm.. disabled and not checked means the same, I think.

It should look like this by default:

Code: Select all

[x] Search in subfolders up to level [0]
[ ] Search in archives
OK, so it looks it's like that already, don't know why it was enabled for me.
