To reproduce use list view, go to folder with many subfolders (50+) (so that the number of rows in status bar is 1), enter the subfolder (so that the number of rows in status bar is 2), then go up ([..]). Focus is not lost, but the wrong column is displayed, so the focused item is not visible. Using the arrow keys helps.
Edit: I can't reproduce it with any subfolder, when testing use small FC window, 200+ subfolders and try to enter more subfolders.
...So now I can always reproduce it with the last subfolder - panel is empty this time, also test it with the other subfolders near the last one.
Win Vista 32 bit, SP2.
584 - Focus issue
Re: 584 - Focus issue
In 586, if the number of status bar lines is changed, file list is empty or broken - only the par of the file names are displayed.
To reproduce:
#1
- use list view, about 10 cm width
- [..] item must have 2 lines of status bar text
- files must have 1 line of status bar text
- copy the test files so that the first column is full and the second column has one file if [..] is focused
- focus [..] item
- now press the right key to select the last file
- the last file is focused for a moment
- the number of status bar is changed from 2 to 1
= second column is active, but it's empty, whole panel is empty
#2
- use list view, about 10 cm width
- [..] item must have 2 lines of status bar text
- files must have 1 line of status bar text
- copy the test files so that the first column is full and the second column has two files if [..] is focused (or one file in second column is any file is focused)
- focus [..] item
- now press the right key to select the last but one
- the correct file is focused for a moment
- the number of status bar is changed from 2 to 1
= second column is active, with the last (one) file, which is not active - incorrect
#3
- use list view, about 10 cm width
- copy more than 3 columns of files
- select and delete the second half of the files
= file names are broken (screenshot)

Re: 584 - Focus issue
591, another one:
#4
- use list view, about 10 cm width
- copy more than 3 columns of files
- select and delete all files except one in the middle
= focus is lost, the panel is empty, the file is not visible
I can reproduce this bug even if the number of status bar rows is not changed.

Re: 584 - Focus issue
It looks it's better, but still not fixed completely...611 "- Status bar option "Wrappable" broken"
Re: 584 - Focus issue
In 623 it's still not fixed. Watch the video, just using right/left arrow keys, the focus is lost if the number of status bar rows is changing.
To reproduce you need to set the [..] item to show always two rows in status bar and then go to [..] in the FC folder, resize the FC window as on video and press the right arrow key, then focus should be lost.

Re: 584 - Focus issue
Please check it in the current 624 release.
Re: 584 - Focus issue
Nice, looks fixed completely, I will be testing more to confirm. Good work, Marek, thank you!
