Feature Request for splitter Toolbar

Currently, dragging the splitter bar all the way to the left, the splitter bar toolbar is still shown. Drag splitter bar to the far right and the splitter toolbar disappears.

I would like to be able to drag the bar all the way to the right but have it stop before the toolbar disappears. I know that I could just not drag it as far, but it would be nice to be able to quickly drag it without having to adjust it and put it in the exact location.
