2008.06c, Vista, sDesk 1.2.0 (virtual desktop)
- sDesk runs on startup
- FreeCommander opens in one of the virtual desktops
- Other software (vmware) in other virtual desktop
- comming back to FreeCommander, not openning (process running, seen on task bar). Trying to Restore
- exiting sDesk, reboot, no way except uninstalling FreeCommander
Some configuration is stored in an unsafe place where might get overridden.
I can send the sDesk, is small and very powerful (using it for 9 years from the NT time). FreeCommander is the only sw I have currently on VISTA that is affected by this problem. And is perfect (except this crucial problem).
Please notify me how to send you sDesk for testing (you will love it), and a screenshot for better understanding
FreeCommander runs but does not show up anymore
Hi,
I've no idea what's the reason, but FC doesn't need any installation.
Try to download freecommander as zip-file and extract it to an empty folder of your choice.
If this version with a fresh freecommander.ini also shows this effect, there might be a conflict between FC and sDesk, but try this first.
